Here, this functional sculpture brings to mind a thin and whimsical tea tray, upon which it was modeled after. Made from rich mahogany wood and hand-crafted, each detail is exact and fine-tuned. The wheels actually work and can be used as a cart or an improvised table to display knickknacks and assorted odds and ends. The wheels are reminiscent of an old, turn of the century bicycle, but made of wood rather than metal. Affixing the wheels to the axel is a cleverly engineered spigot-like hold, which is modeled after old wine-barrel stoppers.
